French warplanes strike Libyan command centre

French warplanes struck a command centre on Sunday night belonging to troops loyal to Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, a French armed forces spokesman said on Monday.
"(There were) strikes on a command centre 10 kM (six miles) south of the Tripoli suburbs on the night of the 27th and 28th," spokesman Thierry Burkhard said. He added that there were no new French strikes on Monday. (Reporting by Nick Vinocur; writing by John Irish; editing by Mark Heinrich)
