Aviva Premiership - New contract for England captain Tindall
It has been a good couple of days for England rugby captain Mike Tindall as he followed Wednesday's announcement of his royal wedding date with the news that he has signed a new contract with Gloucester.
Tindall will marry the Queen's oldester grand-daughter Zara Phillips, 12th in line to the throne, on July 30.
Gloucester said Tindall, 32, had signed a one-year extension to his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the current season.
The centre, who joined from fellow West Country club Bath in 2005, has led England to three successive Six Nations victories in the absence of the injured Lewis Moody and will bid for a fourth against Scotland at Twickenham on Sunday.
